1980's Piaget Polo Date-Date

A fabulous 1980’s Piaget Polo Day Date ref. 15562 C 701 in 18K yellow gold in top condition with a nice long bracelet sized for a nearly 8 inch wrist.

My personal favorite Polo, the Day-Date, adds a lot of flavor and function to an already ostentatiously designed watch. Fonts and complications on a normally clean gadrooned dial and case shouldn’t work but for some reason, it does. Measuring at a midsize 32mm and weighing nearly 137 grams, this sturdy brick of gold lets you know it’s on your wrist in a very satisfying way.

Showing only minor signs of wear this example appears to be unpolished. Many Polos were abused or melted down so to find one in this condition is a feat on its own. Rock this with confidence or it will wear you.
