Hi and welcome to Goldfinger’s.

That’s what my grandfather Major would say when folks strolled into his Newark, NJ based children’s furniture and clothing store for nearly 75 years. If you saw a baby in the tri-state area before the year 2000, odds are their parents picked up their crib from his family store. Starting as Essex Bargain House from his father, Major built that business into a local staple.

Now, what does children’s furniture have to do with watches? Not much but in my case, it’s the thread that connects so much of my life together. Major loved living. He spent his money traveling the world, curating a personal collection of well made and fine things, watches among them. He instilled that passion within me and ever since I got my first watch at 10 years old at a birthday dinner, I have been wearing, collecting and yearning for the next piece ever since.

This vision of Goldfinger’s Vintage is the embodiment of decades of passion of mine inspired by Major. It is by no means my main source of income. It is my way of sharing my love for vintage timepieces as I once did with my grandfather. Watches are not only functional by design but of design. You can wear what you like and how you like it. All pieces curated here are glimpses of what my grandfather and I would bond over.

I only sell what I love. I only sell what I know. And I also know I love what I have in the collection. Therefore, I personally guarantee every watch is authentic, genuine and as described. I want to assure you I value disclosure, feedback and communication. Ask as many questions as you like about a piece you may be interested. Happy to chat.

Stay a while.
