1970's Boucheron "Disco Volante"
A fabulous 1970’s Boucheron “Disco Volante” with a hand engraved frosted dial, double stepped 18K gold case, original Jules Person 18K gold buckle powered by a manual wind Boucheron caliber.
This gem from the 1970’s is from the end of Boucheron’s golden age of watch design, at least in my eyes. There is so much to love about this example, a part from the outstanding condition it is in. The hooded and vented lugs at the caseback, to the micro frosted dial and original JP hallmarked buckle, this thing has it all.
Measuring 32mm in diameter, this watch wears exactly on the dot due to the crown being flush with the case. It is a true Disco Volante.
